My first comment is this - floridadisaster.org - you can type in how many kids and pets you have, and it will print out for you a family preparation plan specifically for you!
Lord, please protect us as this storm approaches - I pray that there would be no loss of life, and minimal damage to our communities! May each of us shine as your servants during the recovery - Lord, use us!
I encourage everyone to slow down a little bit, and to be kind and courteous. It seems that all the stores are jammed full of people trying to get water and supplies…and they tend to be pretty rude. Let’s show God’s love no matter what we are going through. He can bring us peace in the midst of a storm; Fay or any storm of life.
Also, let’s pray this storm is minimal and does not cause our Florida real estate values to drop any further. Seems people are taking Fay seriously–we got the last few cans of ravioli last night and no water at Target!
